Dr. Alina C Benavides Rodriguez DDS is the dentist and founder of Palmetto Dental Studio. She graduated 30 years ago and practiced dentistry in Cuba while combining her passion for research that eventually led her to a degree in Biostatistics, in 1997. Dr. Benavides is a coauthor of several articles and a book. In 2002 she earned a Ph.D. in Public Health from the Higher Institute of Medical Sciences of Habana. In 2003 Dr. Benavides moved to Spain, became licensed in Spain, and dedicated to private practice for 8 years. In 2017 Dr. Benavides completed her Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program (AEGD) from the University of Florida College of Dentistry and joined a private practice. Dr. Benavides with her vast experience believes in comprehensive dentistry for all ages, focusing on prevention and restorative procedures that will lead her patients to high oral health standards.
